Recent Gifts and Grants:

  • The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded a grant of $459,266 to the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy for the research project "Fluorescent Labeling for Micronutrient Assessment."
  • The Corporation For National and Community Service has awarded a $508,000 grant to Tufts and the Massachusetts Campus Compact as part of the Learn and Serve America program to expand college participation.

  • The Arthur Vining Davis Foundation has made a grant of $250,000 to the College of Arts & Sciences in support of a new Minor in Leadership Studies.
  • Micromeretics Instrument Corp. has made a $77,000 gift-in-kind of instrumentation to the nanocatalysis and energy laboratory at the School of Engineering.
  • The Wal-Mart Foundation has made a $250,000 grant to support The Talloires Network, a global collective of individuals and institutions committed to promoting the civic rolses and social responsibilities of higher education. Its headquarters are located at Tisch College on Tufts' Medford campus.
