Faculty are encouraged to explore grant opportunities to support their programs and research through the sources below. The Corporate & Foundation Relations team is able to assist faculty in moving forward with strategy or applications to foundations or corporations identified as strong matches for research and program support. Additional resources can be found on the Office of the Vice Provost for Research website.


Lists U.S. grantmakers and their funding activities. Full access to FDO is provided to Tufts users through the university library.

Lists more than 120,000 foundations and includes tools to locate grants by type, value, year, recipient, donor and historical giving trends.

Combines funding and collaboration opportunities for researchers and graduate students across all disciplines.

Provides information about IRS-registered nonprofit organizations and includes documents such as Form 990, which provides information on giving by year of filing (to whom and what amount).

An e-grantmaking website shared by many government, non-profit, and private grantmaking organizations. It lists funding opportunities from many non-federal sponsors.

Publishes Request for Proposals (RFP) listings daily. Each RFP listing provides a brief overview of a current funding opportunity offered by a foundation or other grantmaking organization.
